problems with script on AlvinBlox Sword Fighting Tutorial. someone help?

i followed an alvinblox tutorial to make a sword fighting game, link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCpl5M_9mcQ

when i use the code, the game works somewhat fine.

the problems i have are:

1) the gui text box does not update on screen unless the player resets or dies

2) when in a round and there is 1 player remaining, instead of respawning the players and declaring the victory, you must die in order for it to register youve won

im not sure if there are errors in the code, spelling mistakes or whatever else but i would love some help from anyone here. this is my first time trying to code a roblox game (or anything) so i am not sure what to look out for when searching for errors
