Ragdoll Carrying System, Where do i start?

I wanted to make drag a ragdoll feature from South London 2, but i dont know where to start? Okay, i know how to detect if player presses specific key, How to play animation sequence and etc. But the problem is that i dont know where and how to start, what do i type first, and how do i make ragdoll attach to character, but not hands. Any suggestions?
