Problem: My inventory item will not drag into another spot?

I have completely scrapped my script and need a new one, I am trying to make my inventory systems objects switch position with another item / slot when a mouse drags the item into a different slot.

I have tried this multiple times but it rather disappears, drops or does not move at all.

Any advice or scripts I can use? Anything helps.
