My blender file isnt going in for some dumb reason?

Asked by 2 years ago

so i want to make a survival game so i made a model for a log which i called "Wood" i saved it as a .fbx and .obj incase things went wrong and they did.

when i try the .fbx i get: The mesh you are importing is very large. Would you like to resize the mesh? Then after that (i usually press yes but i tried no) it gives me: Your mesh contains location data. Would you like to move your mesh to the given location? which i just dont understand. then i got some trouble shooting website thing. which did nothing

the .obj file worked the first time but not well it was half holow and the materials i had were remove (by half holow i mean some of the mesh had combined and you could look inside from wherever you were) then when i tried it again i got : Your mesh contains location data. Would you like to move your mesh to the given location? again i tried yes and no same result. NOTHING HAPPENS IT JUST LOADS THE AIR IN THE DAMN BASEPLATE OR SOMETHING CUZ IT LAGS THEN IT JUST GOES BACK TO NORMAL

please help this is overly complicated i just want a damn octagon in my game :(

1st of all- This is a scripting website. 2nd of all- Watch your language and keep it formal.

Anyways, your hollow issue is due to a property being checked off. You need to set the DoubleSided property to true. This will stop the hollowness.

If you don't see where the part is, here is a keybind trick. Select the part in the explorer or in the workspace, and then press the "F" key to teleport the camera to the part.
