how do i make a camera follow player movements during testing?

i've tried a few models for this before, but during testing in roblox studio they did absolutely nothing. their scripts look fine, no viruses, i can't tell why they're not following me. is there a way to get them to follow me, or does the script only work inside of a published game? i can provide their scripts if needed.

when i test the game out, the two camera models i chose just stay in the same position and don't move whatsoever. their scripts seem to completely deactivate when testing.
