Why do other parts in the workspace rotate/move when I change one part's CFrame? [closed]

Asked by 3 years ago

I am running a simple test to compare both part.Orientation and part.CFrame properties, the thing is, when one part has part.CFrame, it moves other parts within the workspace as well, the other script which changes Orientation property does not affect other parts. This issue has never happened to me before, which is why I am asking for possible solutions:

script.Parent.CFrame = CFrame.Angles(math.rad(65),0,0)

Before you ask, I tried using .fromOrientation property as well, same results. Both scripts are inside their respective parts. I apologize for asking such a trivial question.

this can happen because the parts are welded together imKirda 4491 — 3y
