How Do I Make The Perfect Combat System With Raypoints?

I wanted to make a combat system without Touched,Region3 And Magnitude Since They Sometimes Mess Up. So I Thought About Using RayPoints Instead So How And Where Do I Start? Somebody Please Help Me.
