Is there a way to tell what Place you are in within the Game while playing it?
When playing a game I'd like to be able to tell if during a transition I was teleported to a different position within the same place or a different place.

Not the question for this website, unless it's for your own project. There's no reason to have this kind of a script for anything but malicious purposes, and you'd need to use exploits. May I ask why you want to know your position / area?

It is for my own project, I'm curious how other game's teleports work. If I see a transition that is seamless and I'm teleporting between places during this time, I'd like to figure out how they did that. I noticed when teleporting in my game the Roblox icon in the top left disappears and reappears once in the next place. Does this hold true for all games? Hycheese 34 — 3y
