I'm trying to change a player's model into a scarecrow model, but nothing I try seems to work. I tried attaching the parts as accessories (which seemed like my best bet) and I tried physically rigging up the scarecrow and changing the character rig into it, but it doesn't seem to work. I need help with making the attachments of the scarecrow match with the humanoid, because the scarecrow's quite significantly bigger than the player. I might be able to figure it out myself, however. I would like a new method of doing this if anyone has one that would work. I know this doesn't really have anything to do with code, but it's the only site that would actually work.
If I understand the problem right, then its that you want to change the Players starter character into your own. If you have your Model already rigged up correctly then Name it "StarterCharacter" and put it into StarterPlayer. Then you should spawn as your scarecrow. Also if you need help rigging things in Roblox make sure to watch this Video, it might help you out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8StIer18lpY&t=672s . If you have further questions, make sure to contact me. I hope I could help you out , esepek.
Thanks for the answer. I keep seeing that plugin pop up, but never really considered what it was. But I have an issue. I managed to get it fully rigged up, but when I try to open it with the animation editor, it just says "Studio.AnimationClipEditor.RigErrors.MultipleParents" and it doesn't give me any further info. I don't know what to do now. Maybe I'll look up the error.
