My Go-kart bugs out when a animated object is in it, any fix?

I followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stKmIy05VdA/ in order to make my A-Chassis Go-Kart have the plastic bit shake, just like in Mario Kart games. Problem is, when it is in misc it bugs out. The animated part rotates 90 degrees to the right of the wheels and rest of the vehicle, and it is impossible to enter it because of collision. If I turn collision off, the whole kart will go through the ground, and the plastic will also go through the go-kart. Any help?
