is it possible to script videos?

Recently i've been scrolling roblox games and i found an interesting game named ''Bad Apple''.

upon opening it, i've been surprised with a video + a song.

a video? you cant upload videos on roblox? those were my questions. by looking at the video, i could say that it performed a lot smoothly and wasn't choppy at all.

the video looked pixelated though. I was then told that it was made using module scripts and a viewport frame. One module script was named ''Base64''

i didnt know a module script could create a video using a base64 string, and viewport frame.

so i was thinking: wow this looks extremely well made, it might be useful for me later on.

though i dont know absolutely nothing about api stuff or strings or base64 things.

so is anyone able to help me to figure this out?

Yes, there's a new feature for roblox, alowing you to add video/gif to roblox, its really simple, just create a "Video" instance put it in starter/surface gui, and set the id from the library. GravityGouse99938 75 — 3y
