How Do I Rotate Item's Permanent Position In My Hand?

Asked by 3 years ago

I have this custom model and when i pick it up off the ground it goes into my hand but not in the position i want (upside-down) and i would like to change that position. I have already tried using the rotate tool in game but that doesn't work, it just makes the model fall through the map and despawn. (its not a model, its a tool and it has a mesh inside it) How can i change this?

A simple fix to this would be installing the [Tool Grip Editor](https://www.roblox.com/library/174577307/Tool-Grip-Editor) plugin. zane21225 243 — 3y

Hi!

Ok since the other guy didnt explain it much. I'll explain it to you.

He did get a little right, you CAN use a tool grip editor. If you want a free version:

BUT, to fix your issue with it falling out the map. Use "Require Handle" and name the MeshPart handle.
