How do you make a player controlled part?

Asked by 3 years ago

I am trying to make controllable cameras that will allow you to view a map from above. I honestly have no idea where to start. The two ways I think you can do it is through setting the movement keys to move the part or changing the starter character to a single part but I have no idea how to do either of them.

i dont think thats possible but the best way to get a good result its to add different camera points that are pretty close and when you press any of the wasd keys you move your camera through the points. i cant help you with scripting as you didnt give any but thats my option i give :)

Thanks, but that won't really help with what I want to accomplish with the overhead design. Thanks for the response. OMGgaming89 2 — 3y

Well, from what i know you cant use keys to do this, if you can maybe its using USI and remote events, but you could use buttons and click detectors and make something like one of those claw machine games
