Is it possible to change group ranks in any other way than group admins changing it?
Is it possible to change a members role in a group in ANY other way than you or group admins changing it manually? If so, how?

Yes, it is possible. However you will need to understand a way to program around website forms. Such as HTML, I am not knowledgeable in this aspect but i understand how it is done.
