My animations arent working, how do i get them to work?

I'm trying to make a game where you are a character with two legs and a head, thats it, no torso, no arms, and im trying to make the animations for the rig but when i make it and put it in animation it doesnt do anything, i have the animate script in serverscriptservice and i put the id in for walk and run but nothing happens to my character, how do i fix this?
