[CLOSED] Are constraints a good choice for a car?

Hi.

I looked at the script for the Jeep in the toolbox but there aren't really any comments explaining what does what, so I have no idea how that works.

I have made a car chassis that I can just put the car body on and it will be a functioning car with configurable settings etc. I'm using constraints though, for driving the wheels and maybe suspension ( I haven't figured out how to make suspension using the springs) in the future. Are constraints reliable or am I better off scripting it all like that Jeep in the toolbox?

Thanks

EDIT: After looking through the Dev forum I have seen people think using constraints would probably be a better option since ROBLOX Physics has gotten a lot better, so this question is closed I guess...

The Jeep is 4 years old and therefore is somewhat outdated. However, the jeep used Welds and ManualWelds (in a time when there were no WeldConstraints) and the bouncing is created by the scripts, not springs. User#30567 0 — 4y

Yeah I know, I was just asking if constraints are reliable for cars compared to scripting the entire thing, I don't know when they were released or anything like that, I also don't really understand the Jeep script, PhantomBrix 40 — 4y
