Resources for learning about making GUI 'minigames'?

Are there any good resources or open source projects I can look at for help with making GUI 'games'? What I mean by this is games made entirely through GUI, such as this place for example: https://www.roblox.com/games/4932402511/Space-Invaders-2d

I looked at the Wiki and YouTube for tutorials, but I've only found basic tutorials which I already understand. I also looked at ROBLOX's old Connect Four gear, but it's too outdated and I'm not sure if it even works anymore.
