Please help! I’ve recently been working on my game in Roblox Studio. Yesterday I have no idea what I did, but I crashed my studio somehow. When I re-launched the studio, I published my game (an update) and everything was fine until I started to randomly crash every few minutes when playing the game. It would say something was wrong with my internet or to check the server connection, but it wasn’t me, it was the game. Everyone who was playing would get disconnected as well. My guess is that it is a corrupt file ever since the Studio randomly crashed on me, but I have no idea how to find this file. I’ve checked the console when the game begins to crash, and there’s no script errors related to it. Also, it happens just randomly, so I have no idea what the issue could be. Please help if you can!
If you did script anything in your world, is it possible you forgot to add any waits in places needed? Sometimes that can crash games.
if you used any free models, check them for exploits(for example, lets say a water glass with a script saying inject or something along the lines, maybe that might be the problem
Oh I know what this is, I saw a huge discussion on it on devforum too, so it is a new script for free exploits, when executed it crashes an entire game, I think it uses weld spam.
Hello!
If you used free models in your game, I would recommend installing a virus protection plugin. This is the one that I use:
https://www.roblox.com/library/142273772/Ro-Defender-Plugin-v8-7
It's very easy to use, just click it and it removes all viruses.
Hope this helps!
