How to disable player movement?

Asked by 4 years ago

I've tried looking all over the dev forum for a script to disable player movement, I've found a few but I don't know where to put it? Anyone know where I'm supposed to put it, you can give me a totally different script, I just want to know where you're supposed to put it!

So I made this script

workspace.ChildAdded:Connect(function(plr)
    if plr:FindFirstChild("Humanoid") then
    plr.Humanoid.WalkSpeed = 0
    end
    workspace.Gravity = 179769313486231570814527423731704356798070567525844996598917476803157260780028538760589558632766878171540458953514382464234321326889464182768467546703537516986049910576551282076245490090389328944075868508455133942304583236903222948165808559332123348274797826204144723168738177180919299881250404026184124858368
end)

It disables walking and jumping.

NOTE: It doesn't completely stop you from jumping.

Put it in workspace

Instead of adding the workspace.gravity to all those numbers just put in"plr.Humanoid.JumpPower = 0" after line 3 JustPapi 49 — 4y

But, is there a way to make the player walk to a point while this script is running? theepicboy6789 56 — 4y
