Is there a way to get the camera to rotate?

I am pretty new to the camera and all that, and I was wondering if there is a way to just get the camera to rotate around a block? Nothing fancy, just when the player joins the camera is focused on a block and slowly moves around it. If someone could link a site or spmethong that would be greatful.
