Which one do I uses meshes or parts or unions?

I was wondering while building my game which is a stadium has around 5k parts they are all anchored, and packed. I was wondering if replacing them with meshes will reduce lag. Should I use meshes to build the stadium or parts? Also do unions also help with less lag which of those 3 will reduce them os that.

Maybe Unions I guess... And also, we only ask and answer questions related to script. Block_manvn 395 — 4y

So use union for small objects that players use, use meshes for big things, and try to use parts as little as I can, should I try and turn the parts into a mesh since my game is basically a stadium? User#34371 0 — 4y

Unions are a collection of parts that ROBLOX will try to look as accurate as possible to the original while using the fewest tris it can. The more tris, the more data necessary. Because of the unions unique shape, collisions are also taken into account, and ROBLOX needs to generate collision boxes for the union. There are different settings to the collision being made.

Parts are, well, parts. TBH imo I'd rather use Unions or Meshes because I don't like the mess parts make, although I group them when necessary. Using unions on big objects is costly so I prefer using meshes on those big objects, and using unions on smaller, less data expensive objects.
