for example if i have an animation that makes me flip to the left can i somehow make it flip to the right or a left punch turned into a right punch.
is there some sort of way to script this or reverse it in animation editor? it would be a huge help.

No. but it's quite easy to edit by copying the ending frames and placing them at the front. takes like 30s - 1m to do.
