I'm saving and loading a tycoon (model with parts and more models) with Data Persistance (yes i know it is deprecated but i cant save instances with datastores). It seems to work (no errors, etc) but it doesn't load anything.
This is the script:
local key = "Players_LayoutDATA"
print("Layout Save 0.6 Ready to Operate")
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(plr)
plr:WaitForDataReady()
wait()
local TrueTycoon = plr.PlayerTycoon.Value
local name = TrueTycoon.Name
local TycoonContent = plr:LoadInstance(key)
--TycoonContent.Parent = TrueTycoon.Parent
TycoonContent.Name = name
TycoonContent:MoveTo(TrueTycoon.Base.Position)
print("Layout loaded.")
end)
game.Players.PlayerRemoving:connect(function(plr)
plr:WaitForDataReady()
local TrueTycoon = plr.PlayerTycoon.Value
if TrueTycoon then
plr:SaveInstance(key, TrueTycoon)
print(""..plr.Name.."'s data has been saved successfully.")
end
end)
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

For your info, it's a Script in ServerScriptService in a FilteringEnabled drag-drop tycoon game that I'm developing.
Try dataStores?
It'll be hard to get help on this topic,as it is deprecated. Deprecated basically means that ROBLOX updates will no longer support it. They may have broken it, but it's not important.
I doubt that they broke it. My old RPG uses DataPersistance to save Gold and the quests and it still works.
Try using DataStores. As I saw in a previous question, you could assign keys and values to every aspect of the tycoon model, and create some sort of "code map" for the model to be recreated later from the DataStore (I do not have experience with DataStores (yet), so I cannot help you further...).
Your problem is most likely the tycoon is too large to use DataPersistence. DataStores are more efficient and aren't as vulnerable to data loss. Remember the question you asked earlier? https://scriptinghelpers.org/questions/30030/saving-the-layout-of-a-tycoon
