I would like to know how to do that without writing like hundreds of lines of code to get every single different hue of the colors. Is this possible? If it is, I'm pretty sure it involves tweenservice, if not tell me otherwise I guess

how would you make a part slowly change to another color?

Yes it does, could you explain more In depth however so we can understand what you’re goal is with the code below?
local TweenService = game:GetService("TweenService")
local TweenInformation = TweenInfo.new(5)
local TweenTo = {Color = Color3.fromRGB(0,0,0);}
local Part = workspace.Part
TweenService:Create(Part, TweenInformation, TweenTo):Play()
Use "Color3:Lerp()" when making a script. If you don't know what lerping is I recommend searching a video on what it is.
The documentation for it is here in the "Functions" section: https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/datatype/Color3
If you have any questions or issues contact me. :)

so on the 3rd line, what does the 5 indicate? the color we're starting at or what
also, i was trying to stay pretty broad so that i could use this knowledge in any given situation that i need colors to change
5 is the time it takes
