I'm trying to make something that needs to register when a player touches a part 99% of the time. I'm using the Touched event, however I find that it's inconsistent when the player is just jumping constantly - even on local server.

Example: https://i.imgur.com/WLHnN4i.gifv

That orange part has a touched event which is not firing. My question is, do you guys have any idea on a methodology to have an even happen very consistently when a player touches it?

Anything while-loop related seems very inefficient since I will have many of these instances.

Thanks in advance

You could use a Region3. If Their leg or foot touches the region, kill them or teleport them back.

Thanks for the reply but I'm looking for a different solution. How would I know when a player is in the Region3 without any loops? The same principle applies with rays as well. I don't want to be checking for each player. I feel like Roblox needs to work on some improvements upon the Touched event.

Oh sorry, I didn't fully read the question. Yeah, I don't know any other way other than the way I mentioned. Maybe you could make a invisible part that slightly extends up?

Yea that could work. I might do that if nothing else comes up. Thanks
