When I test my game, on the local side my character is in one place, but when I check the server side, my character is like 500 studs away. On the server side when I click my character on the workshop, it shows an invisible block where I was on the local side and its connected to my server side character far away. Why is this? I have a teleport script in a local script and a seperate one in a normal script. Can the local script teleport be a problem?

yeah, because any changes the client makes will not update on the server. this is for security. if you want the teleport to update server wide, you should either use a server script to teleport or RemoteEvents for the client to tell the server to teleport the player.
when you use a local script it only affect the client, so say if you created a block using a local script, only the player who created that block would see it, so if you ever want to "teleport" something/someone then you have to use a normal script
If you really need to teleport from a LocalScript than use a Remote Event, I'd recommend placing it in ReplicatedStorage, inside a folder to keep things organized. Then a Server Script specifically for remote events in ServerScriptService. You can look up more about RemoteEvents if you decide to do that
I know about Remote Events, this is probably my issue, I'll test it out
it certainly is your issue.
