How can I prevent two animations playing at the same time from conflict?

I am creating a marching system for my game for roleplay purposes. I have created a marching animation and set the priority to Core but the problem is that it interferes with the default moving animation that the player has. How do I prevent this so the march animation plays and the default walking animation stops and vice versa?

You could use the same Animation and just change the Id when you want to change Animation

But how would i know what the player's default id is? How do i put that in a script?

Actually, if you are trying to play an animation, you should set It to a higher priority (such as Action).

In the Animation Editor Plugin, there is an option to disable certain parts, like legs or arms, to discard them from your animation.

Its already been set to Action and I have no idea how to disable body parts but I dont want to do that because i want it to overlap the default walking animation when played.

You may stop all of the playing animation tracks, which can be learnt from here .

However, it is inefficient and bulk. You can use humanoid description .
