Hi, I'm new to Roblox Studio so I'm not that experienced. I'm making low-level enemies but I don't know how to make a damage indicator (so that whenever I hit them, it displays how much damage I've dealt). Any ideas?
How do I make a good damage indicator for enemy NPCs?

This isn't a request site, it's a site to help people with problems with their code, but since you only asked for ideas, I'll give the idea that just came off the top of my head. What you might do is on a NPC being hit you could create a billboard gui with text above their head indicating how much damage was dealt, and then have it slowly disappear or float away, I'm sure there are other ways to do it, but that's the first thing that came to mind. And try creating the code yourself before asking us, that's the challenge of learning.
If you want ideas, then i suggest you learn about GUIS

Basically, once the damage is dealt, you can set the damage value as the TextLabel's text. Then maybe you can tween it to make it float above the NPC's head and then slowly vanish.

Also, i'm assuming that you made the damage system already and you only need the damage to be displayed once it's dealt.

He wasn't asking for code, he was asking for ideas, btw.
