How the heck do I make an animation play if the player clicks?

I have searched and searched for a way to make it work, I have no scripting skill, but I need a bit of code to play an animation on click. Everything I have tried seems to have one problem I can't figure out. I use the output thing and it tells me the problem but I can't fix it. All I am asking for is a bit of code to use for making an animation play on click.
