So, I have been working on these camera effects and I was wondering how to make something work.
How it works
Basically, the camera's CFrame is modified and creates a sort of movement effect.
while [condition] do
local speed = tick()
workspace.CurrentCamera.CFrame = workspace.CurrentCamera.CFrame * CFrame.new(
1.25 * math.sin(speed),
0,
0
)
game:GetService('RunService').RenderStepped:Wait()
end
Collision
Currently, I have a custom script that prevents the camera from going through objects. However, before I added this, the camera would go through objects.
What I'm trying to achieve
The current collision system I have is messy and doesn't look right. What I'm aiming for is a sort of effect where instead of the camera going through objects or bouncing away from it when they collide, the camera would just slide along without actually going through any objects.
I'm not sure if I have to modify something in the Popper script, or if there is another way.
Thanks!
