Anyone got a script that saves tools when you leave?

So, I have a ton of tool givers in my game. But they don't save when you leave. I'd like to make a script where when you get a tool, and you leave, you can join back and it's still there.

Example: John got the laser gun. It was his bedtime, so he needed to leave. He went back on the game the next day, and his laser gun was gone. He then committed suicide.
