Hello I am having trouble finding ways of getting rid of the idle animation disabled in my game. I am a pretty new scripter and can't find anything on it in roblox wiki or on tutorials. I would appreciate it a lot if you could direct me to some information about it such as tutorial, roblox wiki, and etc. Any help is appreciated thank you in advance.
How are some ways to disable the idle animation normal characters do?

Instead of trying to disabling the default animation, you should increase the animation priority of the animation your using.
https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/enum/AnimationPriority
You could also make your own idle animation and set its animation priority to core and loop it.
https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/property/AnimationTrack/Looped
You could try placing this on a local script or normal script (it will only show on client side if it's placed in a local script) inside the StarterCharacterScripts. However, this code will only work on local script. If you want it to replicate to other clients (other players will see the animation) then change the variable for the player.
local Players = game:GetService("Players")
local localPlayer = Players.LocalPlayer
--local localPlayer = Players[script.Parent.Name], this might only work if the script is inside the StarterCharacterScripts
while not localPlayer.Character do wait() end
local character = localPlayer.Character
local humanoid = character:WaitForChild("Humanoid")
local animation = Instance.new("Animation")
animation.AnimationId = "rbxassetid://123456789" --Change the id to your idle animation id.
local animationTrack = humanoid:LoadAnimation(animation)
animationTrack.Looped = true
animationTrack:Play()
In the player model inside of the Workspace when u run the game, there is a localscript called "Animate" inside of that there is a StringValue called "idle". Inside of that StringValue there is some animation objects, u should be able to change them with a script to any other animation, like a animation that does nothing, or u will need to modify the localscript called "Animate" which will probably be more challenging. Hope this helps and if it solved ur issue mark it as an answer :)

Edit: just saw another guy answered, i think u should try his answer first, seems like that could be more helpful
