Can someone tell me what these variables do?

game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function(plr)
	local ls = Instance.new("IntValue", plr)
	ls.Name = "leaderstats"
	local rc = Instance.new("NumberValue", plr)
	rc.Name = "RealMoney"
	local c = Instance.new("StringValue", ls)
	c.Name = "Money"
	c.Value = "$"..rc.Value

It's a leaderboard/leaderstats script. When the player joins the game, ls is created which is an abbreviation for leaderstats. Then rc is real cash and is the child of leaderstats or "ls" and c also.

How can I then change the value of the Money or Real Money / starting cash becasue the leaderboard gets created in game

You can change the starting value just by doing c.Value = 5. For adding to it, do c.Value = c.Value + 5
