I want to make a top down game, but when the player goes left or right, the camera rotates to the back of the player as it normally would, is there a way to disable this so it stays pointed in one direction at all times?
COMMUNITY QUESTION
How do I make it so the camera doesnt rotate with the player?

You could put the Camera in a fixed location
local Camera = game.Workspace.CurrentCamera
Camera.CameraType = Enum.CameraType.Scriptable
Camera.CFrame = game.Workspace.Part.CFrame --The part location

It doesnt seem to work. I already have a top down camera set up, it just keeps rotating which i dont want
You could try doing a loop or checking if its rotation has changed and then when that event is called, it resets the rotation to the right one.
How do I add a check system for when it rotates? Also where would I put the script?
You should put the script as a local and use :GetPropertyChangedSignal() for the camera. I dont think it matters where the Camera script is, as long as it is in a local environment. https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/function/Instance/GetPropertyChangedSignal
