So I want to make a live leaderboard but I'm scared that by doing so, the datastore might get flooded with data and start to delay some requests or cancel them completely. Is there a good way to make a live leaderboard insuring that the leaderboard's datastore won't get flooded?
I was planning on making a ValidateLeaderboards function that would run on all players after every match and update the leaderboard accordingly. It wouldn't send every player's data if the leaderboard was already full of people but at the beginning, since there won't be anyone high up in the leaderboard, there might be a lot of set requests. Is there anyway around this?
