Why wont my script spawn in my requested part?

Hello, iv'e been experiencing a problem for a while now. I had written a script that would spawn in a part with different variables like Brick color, or Part name. Even though no errors pop up while I write the script, or in the output, the part still wont spawn. I will have my script in this question and i hope you guys can help me, Thank you.

local part = Instance.new("Part") part.Name = "greenPart" part.BrickColor = ("Really Green") part.Anchored = true part.CanCollide = true part.Transparency = 0.5 part.Reflectance = 0.5 part.Position = Vector3.new(5,5,5) part.Parent = workspace

Try setting your BrickColor to BrickColor.new("Lime green") instead of ("Really green"). Not only is "Really green" not a BrickColor, but part.BrickColor takes a BrickColor instead of a string. I assume you're using "Really green" to refer to "Lime green."

Hi, I've tried out your script and the problem lies in your brick color

local part = Instance.new("Part")
 part.Name = "greenPart"
 part.BrickColor = BrickColor.new("Really Green") -- You did not put a BrickColor.new there
 part.Anchored = true part.CanCollide = true
 part.Transparency = 0.5
 part.Reflectance = 0.5
 part.Position = Vector3.new(5,5,5)
 part.Parent = workspace

Also, "Really green" is not a Color, try Lime Green. Messing up part of the script, messes all of it up

OH and btw, No errors popped up because ("Really Green") Is taken as a string, the game doesn't check if its actually a brick color because you did not put BrickColor.new
