How to give two NPCs the same rod constraint but still allow them to move?[SELF ANSWERED]

hello, so i made a rod constraint, and i put an attachment in NPC1 and one attachment in NPC2. I connected them with a rod constraint, but they couldnt walk because the rod has a certain length. And the reason im using a rod and not rope is because i do NOT want the connecting thing to touch the ground, ao i had no choice but to use a rod constraint. So yeah. Please help, im making a game and really need to know what to do

i just need a way to have a rod constraint between two NPCs and make it so they both still have the ability to walk wherever they want without the rod pulling them back.

Please help quick

thanks

sooo, it took 9 months of learning to realize i can just find the distance,

size = (npc.Position - npc2.Position).magnitude

and constantly make the constraint longer.

while true do

	wait()
	size = (npc.Position - npc2.Position).magnitude
	rope.Size = size

end

not like thats a good idea anyway, but, i also realised i dint need a rod constraint...

huh
