I'm making a gui that shows the amount of money you have. I wanted to delete the leaderboard so the gui is relevant, but in a way that the leaderstats folder acts like the leaderboard was there, because the gui script changes the text to the currency value. I don't think I need to post my script because you already undestood what I want to achieve.

If I understood correctly, you can use
local StarterGui = game:GetService("StarterGui")
StarterGui:SetCore("TopbarEnabled", false)
in a local script which will disable the top bar however you can still reference your leaderstats.
