COMMUNITY QUESTION

How do I make a brick turn off the player's CanLoadCharacterAppearance property when he touches it?

When a player touches a brick, I want it to turn off his CanLoadCharacterAppearance and refresh him, so his character is just a grey 1.0 character.

Something like this avatar: https://www.roblox.com/library/1873828614/R15-Noob

This is probably really easy and I'm just being dumb, but this is important for a morph I'm making.

I was originally going to post this on the official Roblox devforum, but I have to wait more, so I can be ranked as new member.

Anyways..

Thanks for reading,

bye!

Theres a differance of getting help to do one thing in a script and requesting a whole script with no effort.

alright bro so

what u do is

  1. destroy their clothes to make them naked

  2. set their bodycolors to brickcolor.new(dark stone grey)

  3. if for r15 ur screwed but for r6 just delete any charactermeshes (the animation thingies)

    • for r15 what u can do is store the r15 dummy in serverstorage, and make a clone out of it, destroy player.Character:Destroy(), and then make a clone of the dummy
local dummy = ServerStorage.dummy:Clone()
dummy.Name = player.Name
player.Character = dummy

make sure the dummy has the default roblox scripts like animate, health, etc

Ok, right. I'm doing R15, so I'll have to sure the Dummy method. But how can I do it when a player touches that specific brick? Make only the player that touched it a grey 1.0? Also it would be more convenient for me if you posted the entire script.

This is not a site where you ask others to create scripts for you, try to make the script yourself. If you run into some problem we can help, but we don't create scripts for you
