Hey guys... I want to start scripting off, what should i do? How can i start?

(since i have no code to start off, i 'll let this with a message.)

Hey.

You can start by learning the basics.

But, before that, you should make sure that you're good in these stuff :

1. You have a good understanding.

2. You're good at computer.

3. You've used Roblox Studio before.

4. You must be good in English.

5. You must have a wide thinking.

6. You must be patient, learning scripting can take to 1 year minimum.

If you got all that, that's great, that means you will get it quickly.

So where will you start?

Good that you asked.

1. You can watch youtube videos, and learn the basics.

2. You can use dev forum and learn from there.

3. You can learn it by models.

4. You can learn it yourself (By looking at the explanations of every command).

If you don't understand something, don't give up!

I've learned scripting a long time ago, it was hard, VERY HARD.

But if you spend your time, learn, and give everything that you have.

You'll know scripting in 1 year.

Remember, scripting is NEVER easy.

And not everyone can do it.

But if you will do better than others, you'll be the "chosen" one from them.

Don't give up after a month, 2 months, 3 months or a year.

No matter the time, you'll just have to learn it until you understand it.

Good day.

The best source is Alvin_Blox. Alvin knows a whole lot about scripting and has a youtube channel all about it! That's actually how I learned how to script. I'd suggest going to his channel for advice. He even tells you how to make your first game! I actually kind of know him. He is known as the best scripter YouTuber on Roblox! He explains things well. I hope this helps you!

Best
