Any help for starters?
They're mainly used for object oriented programming on roblox. You can use any metamethods you create a metatable. Object oriented programming uses the __index metamethodÂ
Don't use OOP. Ever. OOP 99.999999999...% of the time is unnecessary, overcomplicates a very simple task and is often counterintuitive. Please don't. Anyways, metatables are for operator overloading.
