How do I edit the joint positions of limbs on an R6 Character?

TL;DR --|> I'm trying to re-position the joints of an R6, but I have no idea how to start it. I've looked for tutorials on it, but I haven't found anything. Please help me understand? Even a little information on it would help more than you would think.

I'm trying to create a Bloxikin-type game. I want to refrain from using toolbox scripts in my new projects, because A) They're usually broken, and B) I feel like it's not helping me learn. My goal is to re-size the limbs of the character, and then re-position the arm and leg joints to mimic that of a Bloxikin. I tried looking at a toolbox script and breaking it down to understand it piece by piece, but they're all the same, broken script just re-uploaded with an edit to say it was made by the person who uploaded it. None of them have comments actually explaining what each part does, it's very frustrating.

Under the character's Torso, are Motor6Ds which connect the arms and legs which allow the limbs to walk and sway. They work similarly to Welds. If you don't like Motor6Ds then you can delete them and replace them with welds.
