Is there a sandbox test enviroment?

Hi

I am currently creating my first game (multiplayer). Now the game is set to Private since it has not been launched yet.

Is there no way to invite a couple of players to test the game before it goes public? This would be very valuable for finding bugs.

Or do I have to make a seperate game with no game thumbnails and publish to this just to get it tested? Seems like a hacky way of getting a game tested with real players.

I guess some of you guys have had the same issue when launching your games?

@boomboosha gave you a good answer, I had some spare time so I made simple whitelist that supports name and ID (Id is better due to the possibility to change the name) :

local Whitelist = {Id = 111111111,Name = "Player",Name = "Player2"}

local function kick(Player)
	Player:Kick("Not whitelisted")
end

game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function(Player)
	for i,v in pairs(Whitelist) do
		if i == "Id" then
			if Player.UserId == v then
				kick(Player)
			end
		elseif i == "Name" then
			if Player.Name == v then
				kick(Player)
			end
		end
	end
end)

Thank you! Too bad it have to be like this. Kind of bedazzled that Roblox don't have a QA enviroment to test on before push to Production enviroment.

You could set the game to public, and then make a script that only allows whitelisted people to join, if they are not whitelisted, you could kick them immediately
