I'm really not asking for code just wondering whats the difference? I think ipairs is faster than pairs but buggy? I'm really not sure. Please explain?

pairs is actually faster. Neither is "buggy".
ipairs will iterate through a table until it finds a non-integer key. pairs will iterate through all values of any table.
