I have a value on the server that needs to be used in a client-sided calculation. I'm thinking I could have a module containing the values but i'd also need a function in that module that can allow change to the values. The only issue with this is, what if the client calls the function and changes the value?
In conclusion, i'd like to know how I can efficiently and safely get a server-sided value that cannot be edited by the client (i'd prefer to not spam a remote).

Why does the calculation need to be done on the client?
yea
How about you perform the calculation on the server? Performing it on the client can leave it vulnerable to an exploit.
i'm applying the calculation to constraints and i'd rather not spam a remote event. I've come to the conclusion that I can use metatables to detect when the table of values changes to then validate those with the server.
