Any reason why the users API can't be accessed through a proxy?

Trying to get user data in-game with the users API but unfortunately, it can't be accessed through a proxy. https://users.roblox.com/v1/users/id https://users.rprxy.xyz/v1/users/88

I am pretty sure that the users API (https://users.rprxy.xyz/v1/users/88) is no longer being maintained and by the fact that I am getting a server IP address could not be found error I would say that the proxy is dead.
