Hello folks.

I'm working on a game and was trying to create a depth-of-field effect with the built-in blur effect and raycasts, but it didn't work very well considering depth of field involves different layers of blur , not the entire screen being blurred. So I got the idea of where ever the raycast hits, a wall of blur will be placed. But I'm not sure how I would create a transparent wall but everything through it is blurred.

If you can get any ideas, send me links to tutorials, write scripts (or start scripts), or help at all I will appreciate it a lot!

Merry Christmas! :D
