I set my Imagebutton.Active to false. According to the tooltip it won't fire mouse events if set so. I can still click it and it will fire all connected events despite "Active" clearly being false in properties.
Why?

Whether the UI element is Active just controls if you can click on, lets say a ClickDetector behind it. Try placing an ImageLable over an ImageButton and move or delete the ImageLable when you want to click on it.
"This property determines whether a GuiObject will sink input to 3D space, such as underlying models with a ClickDetector."
