I want to freeze my my players when they step on a specific part for x amount of seconds, how would i do this? The player would need to stay on the part while it moves. I was thinking of weld but i'm not sure.

here's how you would stop the player from moving: https://devforum.roblox.com/t/how-to-disable-player-movement/235833 then to make the player stay on the part i'd weld the player to the part like you said
