Default animations keep overriding custom animations whilst the animation is still playing??

Hi I'm very new to developing, and I've started to create my own animations for a dance studio game I'm making. However when the user uses the animation whilst walking, the default walking animation still plays at the same time whilst the dancing animation plays. I have set the priority of the animation to Action and it still doesn't work.

I'm using an animation tool script, and I've checked the scripts but honestly I have no clue since I've never done this before.

Here is what the animation looks like: https://imgur.com/whwg2Z5

Idk if this is gonna be helpful but here is the animation script: https://gyazo.com/29b59a0fe94a7487a833fb42c27156a8 https://gyazo.com/b32d752a435f61919c2662a733ac2993

I'm completely clueless xD Thankyou

A lot of the time when you change the priority of an animation, it will not save due to you not moving a keyframe in the animation.

What I suggest you do is recheck the priority of the animation, set it to action and then move a keyframe just slightly to make sure it does fully publish.

No worries, feel free to accept the answer to show others that this does not need answering anymore.

Set the animation Priority to "Action" in the animation editor and it will work :)
